CPA Josiah Momanyi’s Profile

Josiah is the Senior Partner at Josiah, Salah & Associates. He has over 18 years’ experience in Audit and Tax working both in the private and public sector. He began his career at PKF as Audit Assistant rising to Senior Associate. He moved to the Office of the Auditor General in the same capacity and later joined industry as Senior Accountant. He founded Josiah Ongaro & Associates, the percussor to Josiah, Salah & Associates.

In addition to CPA qualification, Josiah holds Bachelor of Economics, Master of Business Administration in Finance.

Josiah is a member of Institute of Public Accountants of Kenya.

CPA Salah Abdi Sheikh’s Profile

Salah Abdi Sheikh was admitted as a partner to Josiah, & Salah & Associates in 2016 and is currently the Managing Partner of the Firm. Salah joined the firm in 2010 as an associate rising in the ranks over the years until his admission as a partner.

He has over 15 years in Audit, Tax and Advisory experience. Salah holds B.Com (Hons) (Finance) and Master of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Nairobi and PhD in Business Administration (Finance) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology. Salah horned his skills in academia teaching professional and academic courses in various colleges and universities rising to Dean of School of Business and Technology at Umma University before leaving teaching in 2015 to concentrate on professional accounting practice.

Salah served as a member of the Board of Garissa University and is currently coopted member of Board Committees of Kenya Forest Service.

Salah is a member of Institute of Public Accountants of Kenya, Kenya Institute of Management, and Institute of Internal Auditors.

Yasin Haji Hussein’s Profile

Yassin Haji Hussein is the Director in-charge of Business Development at Josiah, Salah & Associates. He has over 15 years’ experience in Auditing, Tax and Advisory services.

Yassin has worked both in practice and industry and has also served in Board Of Directors of government agencies. Yassin joined Josiah, Salah & Associates (then known as Josiah Ongaro & Associates) in 2004 as Business Development Executive primarily focusing on customer relations and acquisition.

He holds Bachelor of Accounting from Islamic University in Uganda and Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from Moi University. He is Certified Public Accountant Finalist.

Fred Ndumia is a Senior Associate at Josiah, Salah & & Associates. He has over 15 years’ experience in Audit and Tax Services. Fred has specialized in providing Audit and Assurance and Tax services to SMEs over the years.

Moses Otieno is a Senior Associate at Josiah, Salah & & Associates. Moses Otieno has over 10 years’ experience in Accounting, Audit and Taxation. Moses worked in industry as accountant for five years before joining Josiah, Salah & Associates, then called Josiah Ongaro & Associates, as an associate.

In addition to the Certified Public Accountant qualification, he holds Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from KCA University and Accounting Technician Certificate.

Sakina Mathenge is an associate at Josiah Salah & & Associates. She has over 10 years’ experience in Accounting, Audit and Tax services. Sakina worked for various companies as Senior Accountant before joining the firm in 2020 as an Associate in Outsourced Accounting Services.
